On November 20, 2018 the French restaurant guide Gault & Millau, one of the most influential in the world, released the first Slovenian edition. On page 55 there can also be found Restaurant Gostilna Krištof. We won 15.5 points, three (3) chef’s hats. This is a good indicator of our work so far and it brings new vigour to our work in the future.
In Grand Hotel Union in Ljubljana, where the Gault & Millau Gala celebration was held, we were invited to introduce ourselves among the 20 best Slovenian restaurants. We prepared Vodomec Trout Tartar with Corn Brulee, Beetroot fermented noodles and Passion Fruit Gel.
The 2019 guide features 130 restaurants, 50 wine cellars, 50 POP places and 15 craft breweries.
